Star Writers

Every term two children from each year group are chosen by their teachers to represent the best of the best of Hollywood Writing. Star Writers is a fabulous fusion of funky and expressive writing and Mrs E. Brown finds out how these young writers have developed their writing skills so far. To see their writing in action visit the Hollywood School Main Foyer.

Pen Licences

As usual, children all over Hollywood School have been aiming for their pen licence. Having a pen licence is a very proud moment in our school and we all work hard to get one. We have a very special celebration in Star Assembly and we get a certificate and of course – a pen!

We take our handwriting very seriously and apply it all over the curriculum through our science, topic, maths R.E and spelling. Put it this way, if we can show off our cursive style anywhere, we will!

You can find out more about how to improve your handwriting and how to get one by asking your teacher or visiting Mrs Brown’s ‘Handwriting Hub’ 4B on Wednesday lunchtime.
