Welcome to Hollywood Primary School. It is my pleasure to introduce our new School Website. I hope that you will find it a source of useful information. We hope that the website will expand and improve and we welcome parents feedback.

We pride ourselves on the calm, purposeful and happy environment provided for our pupils. Each person is valued as an important part of our successful school. We expect the highest standards of work and behaviour from each child and this was reflected in our excellent OFSTED report, which praised the quality of teaching and learning, behaviour, relationships and ethos at Hollywood School.

We always seek to encourage and develop a caring community that is based on mutual trust, self-respect and respect for others. We believe that school exists to help all children to realise the potential they possess.

Hollywood is an “ open school.” It is welcoming and we are always ready to listen. The family is an important partner in the Education process. We are always seeking ways to strengthen our links with the home and the local community.

After up to seven years at Hollywood I sincerely hope that your child will leave with a strong sense of achievement and satisfaction. We all strive to instil a sense of pride in the school and pride in oneself. Our hope is that each child will look back and recall their Primary years as a time of achievement and hard work but also of fun and friendships; a time during which they were able to sow the seeds of future success.
